ACCESSIBILITY ANALYSIS AND CONSULTING

Section 508 is the 1998 amendment to the Rehabilitation Act, requiring Federal agencies to ensure that information technology is accessible to persons with disabilities. Government websites are required to meet Section 508 guidelines.

Making your website accessible is easier with an illustrated roadmap and instructions customized for your organization. Accessibility analysis can also make your website easier for everyone to use.

Results and recommendations are delivered in two formats: CD Rom of all materials, and a printed and bound edition which includes:

  1. Visuals (screenshots and/or before and after suggested treatments and mock ups)
  2. Code Changes: universal segments, sectional/category changes and per page changes - plus library of replacement code reference
  3. Changes in language/layout wherever appropriate
  4. Section 508 references and supporting code URLs for citations

Direct page code changes and/or site redesign are also available.
